Pitch N Put or ‘Gone’

Today we went to see Grandma and Grandad to tell them all about our holiday. Grandad said he fancied a game of pitch and put and seeing as the weather was so lovely we decided we’d join them too. You were too little to join in, but that was ok because you played a new game in your pushchair as we went round. We call it ‘gone’. It involves throwing things away and then looking at us and telling us its gone. The clip below shows you playing the game with your bib.

Daddy liked the look of your game and joined in with ‘gone’ on a few occasions around the pitch n put course by hitting his ball into the bushy undergrowth of a tree and then all the way over a hedge……!

I do like to be becide the seaside

It’s been an exciting day, your first at the beach! We went with Grandma and Grandad to Mablethorpe and  met up with Yvonne, Graham, Gill and Edgar. Here is you, Mummy and Grandma outside the beach hut, it’s windy!

You enjoyed playing on the sand and only tried to eat it once, thankfully you didn’t like the taste and so it didn’t happen again. You were a lucky girl because Yvonne went and bought you a bucket and spade so that you could build sandcastles.

Grandad was very excited when he spotted the train and insisted on having a ride, you and Mummy went and kept him company whilst Grandma and I held the bags and took some photos.

1st Holiday

Mummy works for John Lewis and they have a lovely old house in a place called Cookham for their employees and their families to stay.  We took Grandma and Grandad along on this occasion.  (You had been before but you were in Mummy’s tummy then!)  I think we’ll be going quite a bit over the next few years….

The first few weeks

Thankfully you are now more settled and starting to find your routines and we’ve discovered how much you like to eat, food seems to play a bit part in your mood – a bit like someone else we live with! We’ve not had the chance to do much, apart from take some pictures of you asleep…..
